  • Portfolio Dashboard

New Asana Portfolio Dashboard

You can get a bird’s-eye view of all the projects you’re in charge of with the help of our Portfolio Dashboard. It’s a one-stop shop for keeping tabs on everything from development to critical metrics to finished products so you can make informed choices. You can quickly assess the status of your projects, spot trouble spots, and make course corrections using the portfolio dashboard.

Asana’s portfolio dashboard provides some basic charts to get you started; you may add, remove, and modify these charts as needed. The charts will be pre-loaded and ready to go as you click the “Dashboard” tab. In addition, you can be assured that you will always have the most up-to-date information at your fingertips thanks to the portfolio dashboard’s automated updates whenever you enter the tab or reload the page.

Note – Portfolio dashboards filter what information is visible to the user. Because of this, viewers can only see a partial data set on dashboards if they have access to the whole data in the portfolios.

  • All projects by projects’ status – Donut Chart

The chart provides a visual representation of the progress of your projects and the size of each progress slice. This will help you figure out what percentage of total work remains unfinished.

  • Incomplete task by projects – Bar Chart

The bar chart showing the distribution of unfinished activities across projects will help you and your team pinpoint areas of efficiency and potential bottlenecks.

  • Project by owner – Lollipop Chart

Your team members’ workload and available time can be better understood by reviewing an overview of the projects for which they are responsible. This will give you an idea of the tasks they are responsible for and the extent of their involvement in various projects.

  • Upcoming Task by Assignee – Lollipop Chart

If you know how the workload is allocated among your employees, you can instantly pinpoint those excelling and struggling. Thanks to this, you’ll be able to see how everyone on the team is doing in terms of workload.

  • Custom field rollups

Asana’s Portfolio rollups allow you to incorporate custom field columns into your overviews. The numerical information from portfolio projects’ use of global custom or time-tracking fields will be summed in these columns. This function lets you keep tabs on your projects’ crucial information without leaving the portfolio view.

  1. Click the portfolio option in the sidebar menu and choose a specific portfolio.
  2. From the List tab, navigate to the + icon to add fields.
  3. Click the + icon and click the Add rollup.
  4. Select any available numeric custom fields that you want to add.

  • Multi-sort and multi-filter in projects

With the latest update, clicking the Filter button brings up a new menu that lets you apply multiple filters simultaneously. When you select one of the three filter options from the menu, it will take effect immediately.

  • Draft comment widget on Home

This newly introduced widget, which you can locate and use on the Home screen’s customization pane, is fantastic. Have you ever questioned why you didn’t hear back from your team members? Perhaps because the comment you sent hasn’t yet been delivered. You don’t have to be concerned anymore! To read unsubmitted comments, utilize the Draft comment widget to continue the conversation about work.

  • Proofing images from task descriptions

To help your team finish their work, proofing allows stakeholders to provide detailed, helpful comments on images. The ability to automatically build subtasks from annotations will make providing and receiving feedback more streamlined and less irritating, leading to more clarity regarding what needs to be adjusted.

  1. Click the image attached to the task.
  2. Click the Add Feedback button in the upper right corner.
  3. Select the area you want to give feedback.
  4. View all the tasks created under the sub-task section.
